History
The Cherokee County Arts Council building started in 1842 and was originally a Methodist Church. Later they relocated the church due to the increase in members and moved all the furniture in May 2, 1926. In December 18, 1992, Cherokee County purchased the property and on September 25, 1998, the building was turned into the Cherokee Arts Council.
